BigBlueButton
BigBlueButton is a virtual classroom program designed for distance learning.
It is an open-source project supported by an independent developer community.
At Language Hub, we integrated BigBlueButton into our study programs in 2019 and it has been an integral part of online learning activities ever since.
Moodle
The Moodle (modular object-oriented dynamic learning environment) system is used to manage educational activities.
It includes courses, users, course folders, study materials, test tasks, attendance system, ensures connection with the system for virtual classes based on student authentication.
Moodle is also used for the main website and subpages, including forms, surveys, verification of issued certificates.
OmegaT
We use the OmegaT tool to arrange translation projects.
OmegaT is an open-source application that helps us centralize, standardize, and control the translation process in all aspects. With the server configuration of the program, we work remotely in teams (project manager - translator - proofreader) to keep the texts coherent, accurate, and in the original layout.
